GENERAL INFORMATION

BIOFUM is a product for agricultural use composed of selected strains of Isaria fumosorosea with a broad spectrum for the control of insects such as whiteflies, bedbugs and thrips.

BIOFUM acts as an entomopathogenic agent through the germination and penetration of the conidia in the insect's cuticle, it passes into the hemocele (circulatory system) where a mycelial mass is formed by the growth of the fungus and invades all tissues; In addition, toxins are released that control the development of the insect. If the humidity and temperature are favorable, Isaria fumosorosea emerges from the body of the insect producing grayish conidia.

BIOFUM is a biological insecticide that guarantees excellent control of the tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and the greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum).

Similarly, the Isaria fumosorosea strains from BIOFUM have activity against thrips and bed bugs.

STORAGE
BIOFUM should be stored in its original and closed packaging, in a cool, dry and shady place. In these conditions it lasts 6 months after formulated.

PREPARATION
Before using it, it is recommended to shake the BIOFUM and dilute it in one or two liters of water until it is homogenized and then proceed to complete the desired volume.

COMPATIBILITY
Do not mix with alkaline compounds and fungicides; some insecticides can also affect the action of the product. Wait three days after fungicide applications. Can be used with bonding agents and emulsifiable oils.

SECURITY PERIOD
It does not require a grace period, but it is advisable to use the minimum protective equipment for spraying the product on crops. For better product effectiveness consult our technical department.
