GENERAL INFORMATION

EQUIFUN is an extract derived from plants known as horsetail (Equisetum arvense and Equisetum giganteum). Its properties for controlling fungi are due to the presence of silicic acid, silicates and equisetonin is a saponin having antimicrobial activity; therefore it is effective to control various types of fungi which infect plants as Oidium sp, Phytophthora sp, Botrytis sp and Alternaria sp among others.

The mode of action is to strengthen EQUIFUN cell tissues due to its high content of silicon. Pathogenic fungi can not penetrate as easily through their leaves.

Its action is fungicidal and preventive.

STORAGE
EQUIFUN should be stored in its original sealed packaging in a cool, dry and shady place. Under these conditions it lasts 6 months after formulation.

PREPARATION

COMPATIBILITY
