GENERAL INFORMATION

NONEM It is a product for agricultural use that contains conidia of Purpureocillium lilacinum that plays an important role in the regulation of populations of nematodes, some insects and slugs.

NONEM is composed of several strains of P. lilacinum that parasitize all stages of development of nematodes that affect plants, produces toxins that affect the nervous system and cause deformation in the stylet of surviving nematodes, which reduces damage and their populations. It mainly colonizes Meloidogyne eggs (root knot nematode) and reduces hatching. The conidia of the fungi adhere to the cuticles of the vermiform stages of the nematodes as soon as they migrate through the soil. After the conidia germinate, the fungus penetrates the cuticle and colonizes the nematode. The hyphae of the fungus can also enter the nematode through natural openings. The fungus kills the nematode by feeding on its bodily contents.

NONEM also infects the adults of the coffee borer (Hypothenemus hampei) that emerge from ground fruits. It has been proven to control mites and can infect Sclerotinia sclerotia.

STORAGE
NONEM should be stored in its original and closed packaging, in a cool, dry and shady place. In these conditions it lasts 6 months after formulated.

PREPARATION
Before using it, it is recommended to shake the NONEM and dilute it by one or two liters until it is completely homogenized and then proceed to complete the desired volume. It must be ensured that it covers the plant and the soil where the diseases occur in a homogeneous way. High pressure nozzles are recommended to create a mist and fine droplets. To achieve greater effectiveness of NONEM it is preferable to apply it as a pest preventive.

COMPATIBILITY
NONEM is tank compatible with most insecticides. Do not mix with fungicides of unknown compatibility. Consult the Technical Department of BIOQUIRAMA for your concerns or suggestions

SECURITY PERIOD
It does not require a grace period, but it is advisable to use the minimum protective equipment for spraying the product on crops. For better product effectiveness consult our technical department.
